Breaking free of its traditional design space, this ring is intended as an artifact as much as an adornment. Inspired by the work of Amedeo Modigliani, it takes the form of a human face stretched around a circle, incorporating movement along the entirety of its circumference. The ultimate form is an investment casting of a carved wax master that has been polished and patinated to add depth.
